Connection flow

  1. 1. Organization access. A hospital or clinic signs in to its Medilitics workspace and creates an integration client.
  2. 2. Discover. Read the SMART configuration and capability statement from the FHIR base URL.
  3. 3. Authenticate. Request a short-lived bearer token using client credentials and only the scopes assigned to your client.
  4. 4. Exchange. Read Patients and Observations, or write back Observations using the approved create/update scopes. Access is organization-scoped and audited.

Appointments, encounters, documents and event webhooks remain planned extensions and will be added behind explicit organization and consent controls.
